Charlotte Scott Kennedy (AUGUSTA, Ga.)

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Charlotte Scott Kennedy, 76, entered into rest Wednesday, April 15, 2009, at her daughter's residence. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, April 18, 2009 at Salvation Army Church on Gardner Street. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Survivors include her children, Howard (Maira) Kennedy, Blythewood, SC; Janet (Bob) Johnson, Augusta, GA.; Carol (Doug) Jarvis, Elkhart, IN.; Susan (Stephen) Ellis, Atlanta , GA.; Virginia (Mike) Louie, Lakeland, FL.; brother, Ralph (Nancy) Scott, Greenville, NC.; fourteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Mrs. Kennedy was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon M. Kennedy; son, Bruce Kennedy and one grandson, Kevin Simpkins. The family suggests in lieu of flowers memorials be made to St. Joseph's Foundation, Trinity Hospice Memorial, P. O. Box 31358, Augusta, GA. 30903.
