Murray Paul Cibak (AUGUSTA, Ga.)

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Murray Paul Cibak Sr. of Dixon Airline Road in Augusta died on Monday, April 13, 2009. He was 57 years old. The family received friends on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at The Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta. The funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, April 16, 2009 at 3:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Committal services will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Rev. Dexter Lambert and Dr. Daniel Vestal will officiate. Mr. Cibak is survived by his wife, Carolyn Cibak; his mother, Mrs. Goldie Keilholtz Cibak, of Augusta; his daughters, Leslie Perdue and her husband, Emmett, of Harlem, and Melissa Vestal and her husband, Philip, of Harlem; his son, Paul Cibak, of Augusta; his nine grandchildren, Brice Vestal, Chance Perdue, Hallie Vestal, Paul Chandler Vestal, Peyton Perdue, Tripp Cibak, Abraham Cibak, Pierce Perdue, and Adelyn Cibak; his brother, Malcolm Cibak and his wife, Ravonna; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Anne and David Autsolief, Patricia Robinson, Ralph and Phyllis Dunaway, Michael Dunaway, Lizzie and Ronnie Nelson, David and Cyndi Dunaway, and Kathy and Marc (Peachy) Williamson; many loving nieces, nephews, and other family members. Mr. Cibak was preceded in death by his father, Michael Cibak, and by his brother, David Cibak. Pallbearers are Pat Mulherin, Mark Keilholtz, David Autsolief, Charlie Schlein, Chuck Walker, and Terry Davenport. Honorary pallbearers are Mickey Wheeler, Ken Waites, Russell Waites, Lloyd Toole, Mike Keilholtz, Sam Reyes, and Danny Ballard.
