Barbara Jean Prickett (LOUISVILLE, Ga.)

LOUISVILLE, Ga. - Mrs. Barbara Jean Prickett, 49, wife of 33 years to Rufus Prickett and the daughter of the late Melvin Wells and Lucy Reese Parker, entered into rest Tuesday April 14, 2009, at Jefferson Hospital. Funeral services will be held at James Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, April 17, 2009, at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Chris Henry officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 16, 2009, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Mrs. Prickett was a member of Wrens Baptist Church and a home maker. Survivors include her husband Rufus Prickett and her children Kellie (Lewis) Braswell, Stapleton Ga., Sara (Clarence) Birt, Matthews Ga., Amanda Prickett, Louisville Ga., Jennifer Prickett, Stellaville Ga., Daniel Prickett, Louisville Ga.; Grandson, Carlos Cruz; Granddaughters, Jasmine Birt and Kali Martinez; sisters, Brenda (James) Munro, Hephzibah Ga., Judy (Michael) Carter, Zebina Ga., Mae (Gary) Darnell, Blythe Ga., Marie (David) Hardin, Wrens Ga.; brothers, Lamar (Trish) Wells, Hephzibah, Ga. and Poochie Wells, Zebina Ga. Mrs. Prickett is preceded in death by her son, Tony Prickett. Pallbearers will be Corp.
