THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Blondell 'Blonde' H. Story, wife of the late James C. Story, died Monday, April 6, 2009, in the Thomson Manor Nursing Facility. Mrs. Story was the daughter of the late John D. and Lila Hobbs. Survivors include a sister-in-law, a number of nieces and nephews, and several cousins. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Durham, Clifford, Ed, and John Hobbs. She was a native of Thomson, Ga., but had resided in Evans for a number of years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Thomson. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, April 9, in the Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens with Rev. Randy Martin officiating. The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the graveside. There will be no formal visitation at the funeral home.
