LINCOLNTON, Ga. - Entered into rest Sunday, March 29, 2009 at Burke Medical Center, Waynesboro, Georgia. Mrs. Louise B. Gartrell, known affectionately as "Beadie", of Dawkins Street. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 4, 2009, at 2:00 p.m., from Ebenezer Baptist Church, Lincolnton, Georgia with Reverend Fred Perriman officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Gartrell was a native of Lincolnton, GA and a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, where she served faithfully until her health failed. She received her education in the Lincoln County school system and was a retired restaurant worker. Survivors are four daughters, Alice Gartrell, Rebecca Bussey, Margaret Perrin, and Brenda Tutt; two sons, James "Buddy" Gartrell and Edward (Maria) Gartrell; two very dear grandchildren, William "Billy" Gartrell and Calvin Blanchard; forty-eight grandchildren, sixty-three great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
