CLEARWATER, S.C. - Entered into rest on Wednesday, March 25, 2009, Lucille Harris Rains, age 90, of Clearwater, S.C., wife for 70 years to the late William M. Rains and daughter of the late Lanham Harris and the late Gladys Lanford Harris. She is survived by a daughter, Ruth R. Jones of North Augusta, S.C.; sons, James Rains of Beech Island, S.C. and Robert Rains of Port St. Lucie, Florida; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was born in Laurens County, S.C. but has been a resident of Aiken County for the past 63 years. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family and friends and all whose lives she touched. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2009, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Mr. Curtis Moody officiating. The interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens in Langley, S.C. The pallbearers will be Glenn Carter, Jason Rains, Stephen Dyches, Cliff Rains, Barry Christian and Jeremy Christian.
