Judge closes court for sensitive Brown talk

The court case involving the James Brown estate proceeded Thursday in a closed session.

Judge Jack Early closed the proceedings after a lawyer for one of the trustees said information to be discussed involved sensitive matters of the late singer's estate. Judge Early ordered anyone who wasn't a party to the proposed settlement, a trustee or an attorney for a party in the settlement to leave the courtroom.

More testimony from one of the trustees was heard during the closed session, which lasted several hours.

Thursday's hearing marked the second day of testimony this week. The case isn't expected to resume until next month.
