Because of a miscommunication, a copy editor transposed the votes of two congressmen in the list on the front page of Friday's editions of The Augusta Chronicle. The list should have said Georgia Republican Paul Broun voted "no" on the legislation to tax bonuses on AIG and other firms bailed out by taxpayers, while South Carolina Republican Henry Brown voted "yes."
The Chronicle regrets the error.

I was amazed to read Congressman Broun voted for a bill so blatantly unconstitutional. He is one of the few on Capital Hill that has earned my respect and I am glad to learn that this was reported wrong. I hope that news of this error speeds as fast as the original report. It was pretty damaging to him.
