THOMSON, Ga. - Ms. Denise Dobbins, died Saturday, March 14, 2009, in the Medical College of Georgia, after a long battle with cancer. She is survived by her father, James 'Jim' Dobbins, Thomson and her brother, James 'Dennis' Dobbins, Buford. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Wendt Dobbins. She spent many years as an active pioneer with her congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, here in Thomson. She was a 18 year employee with Wal-Mart in Thomson. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 21, in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Thomson.
