MARTINEZ, Ga. - Sandra Louise Prather Baty, 59, loving daughter of Louise and Duluth Prather, entered into rest Tuesday, March 17, 2009, at Doctor's Hospital after a short battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 20, 2009, in the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors at 2:00 PM with Pastor Rich Bowen officiating. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park She is survived by her children, Robin Loy and her husband, David of N. Augusta, S.C., Robbie Bunch of Gautier, Miss., and Tara Shoaf of Charleston, S.C.; brothers, Thomas Prather and his wife, Michele of Hephzibah, and Ronnie Prather of Augusta; sister, Gloria Belcher of Madison, Ga.; grandchildren, Holly Ann, Courtney, Bailey, Trae, Jacup 'Jake', Nolan and Haven; and numerous neices and nephews. Mrs. Baty was born in Augusta and attended New Hope Worship Center. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM, Thursday evening.
