Robert C. Muns (JACKSON, S.C.)

JACKSON, S.C. - Funeral services for Mr. Robert C. Muns, 81, of Hendrix Street, Jackson, SC, who entered into rest March 17, 2009, will be conducted Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the First Baptist Church of Jackson. Dr. Ken Klingler officiating. Interment in Jackson Memorial Cemetery. Mr. Muns was a native of Ellenton having made Jackson his home for the past 46 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jackson, worked in construction most of his life having retired from Coordinated Apparel of Jackson. Mr. Muns was son of the late Joseph W. and Mary Ethel Williams Muns and brother of the late Josie Ethel Walker. He was an avid gardener and loved the outdoors. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Betty H. Muns; a daughter and her fiancŽ', Linda Lariscy, Augusta and Arliss Jarvis, Jr., Beech Island; two grandchildren, Robin Dixon and her husband Kevin and William H. "Trey" Lariscy, III, all of Augusta; a step- granddaughter, Abby Dixon; two sisters, Elizabeth McLean and Evelyn Grant, both of Jackson; several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jason Hutto, Ronnie Martin, Jerry Martin, Bill Lariscy, Gary Thornton and Greg Thornton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 7 until 9.
