AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Elfriede Himich of Tubman Home Road in Augusta died on Monday, March 16, 2009 at her residence. She was 80 years old. The memorial service will be conducted on Thursday, March 19, 2009 at 6:30 p.m. from the chapel of The Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta. Mrs. Himich was cremated and burial will be a private service at a later date. Mrs. Himich is survived by her husband of more than 50 years, Walter Himich.
