Thomas Paul Moore (HORNSBY, Tenn.)

HORNSBY, Tenn. - Funeral services for Thomas Paul Moore, 77, are 2 p.m., Fri., Mar. 20, at Shackelford Funeral Home in Middleton, Tenn. He died Tues. Mar. 17 in Selmer, Tenn. Born May 8, 1931 in McNairy Co., Tenn., he served in the US Army for 24 yrs. in Korea and Vietnam, retiring as a Sgt. 1st Class at Ft. Gordon in Augusta. He returned to Tennessee in 1992 and attended Powell's Chapel Methodist. His wife, Babe Ruth Cox, preceded him in death Nov. 28, 2004. Survivors are a daughter, Sherry Dressel (Wyman); and a son, Ritchie L. Moore (Elicia), all of North Augusta, S.C.; a brother, Joseph Maynard Moore of Selmer, TN; three grandchildren, Phillip Dressel (Tammie), Regina Moore Pettigrew (Keith) and Brian Moore; and two great-grandchildren, Brandon Dressel and Brittany Dressel.
