AUGUSTA, Ga. - Funeral service for Mrs. Lula Pearl Seabrook Wright, age 76, of Augusta, will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2009, at 1:00 p.m., at the New Zion Baptist Church, Wrens, with the Pastor, Rev. Dr. W. L. Jones officiating. Interment, Sugar Hill Cemetery. Lula Pearl Seabrook Wright was born in Jefferson County to the late John Ermon Seabrook and Eva Chinn Seabrook on October 24, 1932. She departed this life on March 13, 2009 at University Hospital. Survivors who cherish precious memories of "Auntee" are: two sons, Johnny Bernard (Vertis) Seabrook of Augusta, and Quincy Channing Wright of Augsburg, Germany; a special niece, Connie (Andrew) Tillman; three sisters, Clara Brown of Wrens, Georgia, Lillian Rouse of Augusta, and Alavan Ross of Miami, Florida; two brothers, Willie Lee (Martha) Seabrook of Miramar, Florida and Johnny Edward (Rosalyn) Seabrook of Tampa, Florida; one sister-in-law, Leila Seabrook of Wrens, Georgia; 8 precious grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a large number of devoted nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great niece and nephews, cousins, "adopted" sons and daughters, "adopted" nieces and nephews, and many, many friends. Auntee will especially be missed by the great multitude of young people and their parents whose lives she impacted by providing the best quality day care in the world. Freeman Funeral Home, Wrens.
