AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Charles Jackson, Sr., of Wrightsboro Road, entered into rest on Sunday, March 15, 2009 at his residence. Funeral service and interment will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2009 at 3 p.m. in Thomasville, Ga. Mr. Jackson, a native of Thomasville, Ga., was a member of Good Shepherd Baptist Church and was employed for thirty years at the V.A. Medical Center. He was also retired from the U. S. Army. Survivors are his wife, Betty Jackson; two daughters, Cicily J. Myles, Thomasville, Ga., Rochelle Reid, Martinez, Ga.; sons, Charles Jackson, Jr., Martinez, Keith Nixon, Kevin Nixon, Thomasville, Ga.; sisters, Annie Doris Wright, Rosa Lee Daphney, Shirley Nixon, Thomasville, Ga.; brothers, James Jackson, Bill Jackson, Thomasville, Ga.; and other relatives.
