LANGLEY, S.C. - Mrs. Ellen Gresham Chambley, 92, of Langley, SC, wife of the late George Chambley and daughter of the late Preston and Alice Rosier Gresham, died Sunday, March 15th, 2009. Born in Vaucluse, SC, she had been an area resident all of her life. She retired from King Mill after thirty-five years of service and was a member of Langley United Methodist Church. Mrs. Chambley loved to take tours and volunteered at University Hospital up until three years ago. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 17th, 2009, at 4 o'clock from the graveside in Warrenville Cemetery, Warrenville, SC. If so desired, memorials may be made to the Golden Harvest Food Bank. The family will greet friends today from 2 o'clock until 3:30 at Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, U.S. Hwy. #1, Langley, SC.
