Ruth Marie Dixon Batten (NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C.)

NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Ruth Marie Dixon Batten, 58, daughter of Ralph Berry and Gussie Rogers, entered into peaceful rest on Sunday, March 15, 2009 at the Aiken Regional Hospital. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at Hillcrest Memorial Park, with Brother Dean Cook officiating. Mrs. Batten is survived by her loving husband, James Batten, son; Robert (Donna) Stichert of Trenton, South Carolina, three sisters, Anne (Lee) Smith, Martinez, Georgia, Mary (Lynn) Hunt, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Delaine (Carroll) Plowden, Graniteville, South Carolina; three wonderful granddaughters, Brandi Bell, Stephanie Stichert and Jessica Stichert; two great grandchildren, and four nephews and two nieces. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ruth M. Batten fund.
