GROVETOWN, Ga. - Mrs. Mildred L. Icenhour, 83, wife of the late David H. Icenhour went home to be with Jesus on Saturday, March 14, 2009, at her home. Funeral services will be held 4:00PM Tuesday, March 17, 2009, at Bethesda Baptist Church with the Revs. Sonny Serigney and Jerry Pease officiating. Burial will be in Harlem Memorial Cemetery. She will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Icenhour was a loving wife of 59 years to the late David Icenhour. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother and a member of Bethesda Baptist Church, Harlem, GA. Survivors are two loving sons, David A. (Dot) Icenhour, Sr., Clearwater, SC; Dwight D. Icenhour, Grovetown, GA; three loving daughters, Marian (Jerry) Kitchens, Augusta, Betty J. (George) Curtis, Grovetown and Sharon (Darrell) Krentler, Grovetown; fourteen Grandchildren, thirty-two great Grandchildren and six great-great Grandchildren; two sisters, Avis King, McBean, GA and Edna Wilcher, Hephzibah, GA; three brothers, Leonard Washington, Harvey Washington, Grovetown and Robert Washington, Martinez, GA. Pallbearers will be David Allen Icenhour, Jr., Ron W. Icenhour, Troy Widener, Jonathan Sheets, Patrick Wilson, Rusty Gordon and O.J. Hayslip.
