EDGEFIELD, S.C. - Mr. Robert T. 'Bobby' Reel, Sr., 81, of Bausket St., husband of Gertrude Miller Reel, died Friday, March 13, 2009, at Edgefield County Hospital. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 16, 2009, at 2:30 P.M., at Edgefield First Baptist Church with burial in Eastview Cemetery in Edgefield. Mr. Reel was born in Edgefield, S.C. and a member of Edgefield First Baptist Church. He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He was a Veteran of WW II and a member of Hezzie Griffis post 30 for 50 years and was a Mason. He served on the Edgefield Fire Dept. for 50 years retiring as Fire Chief. Survivors include his wife; 2 daughters, Ellen (Mike) Kitchens Edgefield, Lynn (David) Mathis North Augusta; 1 Son, Robert T. Reel, Jr., Columbia; 4 Grandchildren; and 5 Great-Grandchildren.
