PLEASANT, S.C. - Charles H. 'Buzz' Bradford, husband of Helena M. Bradford, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2009 in Mt. Pleasant, S.C. The funeral services will be in All Saints Lutheran Church, Monday, March 16, 2009, at eleven o'clock. Burial will follow in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, Sunday, March 15, 2009, from 6:00 until 8:00 o'clock. He was born October 7, 1929, in West Columbia, S.C, son of the late C. H. and Mattie Lou Oxner Bradford. He was a former sales representative for Hotpoint, branch Manager with Burris Chemical in Augusta and Charleston; and Manager of Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens. He was a US Army Veteran and a member of All Saints Lutheran Church and honorary lifetime member of South Carolina Lutheran Men in Mission. He is survived by his wife, Helena Moore Bradford; daughter, Carol Bradford Johnson and husband, Mike, of James Island, S.C; son, C.H. (Chuck) Bradford and wife, Brenda of Sevierville, Tenn.; son, Carey H. Bradford of Hilton Head; step-son, Mark Rhoden and wife, Rachael, of Lexington; a sister, Jane Bradford Caudill of Fuquay- Varina, N.C.; grandchildren, Sarah and Amanda Johnson, Elizabeth and Matthew Bradford; step- grandchildren, Andrew Craven; Shelton and Conner Rhoden; and close cousins, Kay Oxner Conrad and her husband, Rev. Paul Conrad, and Lyn Linder, as well as many other nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Bradford was preceded in death by his parents, C. H. and Mattie Lou Oxner Bradford, Greensboro, N.C.; a sister and brother-in-law, Ralph and 'Dinky' Bradford Davis, of Jamestown, N.C.; mother-in-law, Helen Moore of Sullivan's Island; S.C.; brother- in-law, James Caudill, of Fuquay- Varina, N.C.; and step-daughter, Ruth Rhoden Craven of Lexington, S.C. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to All Saints Lutheran Church, 2107 Highway 17 North, Mt.
