AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Everleen Grant, of Spruce Street, entered into rest Monday, March 9, 2009, at University Hospital. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 16, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Mt. Zion A.M.E. Zion Church with Rev. Robert Christian officiating. Burial will be in Walker Memorial Park. She was a native of Burke County, Ga., and a member of Mt. Zion A.M.E. Zion Church. Survivors are one daughter, Jasmine Grant; brother, James Smith; sister, Louise Stephens, Daytona Beach, Fla.; two aunts, Brinnie Plowden and Hattie Mitchell; uncle, William Wright, all of Augusta; a host of other relatives and friends.
