AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Effie L. McCain of Harper-Franklin Ave., entered into rest on Friday, March 6, 2009 at Doctors Hospital. Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13, 2009, at 1 p.m., at Carey Hill Baptist Church, Garrett Road, Edgefield County, with Rev. Clifford Williams officiating. Mrs. McCain will lie in state at the church from 10 a.m. until the hour of service. Burial will be at the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the S. J.
