AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Dorothy G. Briscoe entered into rest on Tuesday, March 10, 2008 at Trinity Hospital. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Survivors are six sons, Rufus (Georgia M.) Briscoe, Jr., James (Teresa) Briscoe, Lannis (Marie) Briscoe, Augusta, Rickey Briscoe, Willie Daniel Briscoe, Curtis (Kim) Briscoe, Atlanta, Ga.; four daughters, Veronica (Marion) Stokes, Agnes (Larry) Butler, Yvette (Donnie) Ferrell, Edith L. Briscoe, Augusta; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and other relatives. Williams Funeral Home, 2945 Old Tobacco Road, Hephzibah, Ga.
