WARRENVILLE, S.C. - Mrs. Virginia M. Finklin Sims, 67, of Daley Drive, entered into rest March 7, 2009. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, March 13, 2009 at Old Storm Branch Baptist Church with the Rev. William Booker, Eulogist and Rev. Dr. Nathaniel Irvin, Pastor. Interment will be in Rocksville Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Sims, a native of Aiken County, was a member of Rocksville Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, George Lonnie Sims; three daughters, Debra (Michael) Johnson, Mary (Cheyenne) Mims, and Tisha Sims; nine sons, Ricky Sims, Timothy Sims, Nathan Sims, Curtis Sims, Perry (Eva) Sims, Jerry Sims, Gary (Natasha) Sims, Marvin (Lavetta) Sims, and Christopher Sims; her mother, Johnnie M. Harris Finklin; one sister, Clara Finklin; one brother, Archie Finklin, Jr.; mother-in-law, Ruby Sims; 52 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends.
