STATS: 16, senior at Jefferson County High School

WHAT: Quirky artist

HER STORY: "I'm like a typical teenager; I dance in the mirror in my room and listen to my music," Erin said.

She has several hobbies.

"If I'm not eating, then I like to draw and paint at home. I'm also a big fan of fashion shows; not the runway shows but makeover shows like What Not to Wear and Look for Less," she said.

Erin also has a disciplined, serious side. She is a first-year golfer, plays flute in the high school band, is a youth leader at First Baptist Church of Louisville and is a teacher apprentice.

"I like all of (these activities). Wednesday nights at church, I get to lead the youth group, and that's fun, and band is exciting too." she said.

Erin wants to become a teacher.

"It's also enjoyable being an apprentice in my old teacher's class, since I get the opportunity to work with the kids".
