Idell K. Patterson (AIKEN, S.C.)

AIKEN, S.C. - Mrs. Idell K. Patterson, 94, of 430 Hampton Avenue, NW, Aiken, S.C., departed this life on Tuesday, March 3, 2009, at her residence. Funeral service will be held Sunday, March 8, 2009, at 3 p.m., from the Zion Fair Baptist Church, New Ellenton, S.C., with Rev. Ronnie Bryant, officiating. Burial will follow in the New Zion Branch Missionary Baptist Church, Aiken, S.C. Survivors include one sister, Ethel Mabry, Warrenville, S.C.; three sons, Larnzer Quarles, Hempstead, N.Y., Louis Patterson, Aiken, S.C., and Leroy Quarles, Calif.; two devoted granddaughters, Marie Alexander, Augusta, Ga., and Yvonne Quarles, Concord, N.C. Friends may call at her residence or at Jackson-Brooks Funeral Home beginning 3 p.m., Saturday. The remains will lie in state at the church, Sunday, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
