RAYLE, Ga. - Mr. Herman Lee Mauldin, 88, of Rayle, died March 5, 2009 at his home. He was a native of Paulding County, a truck driver and a member of County Line Baptist Church where he served as deacon for 49 years. Funeral services will be Sunday at 3pm in County Line Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Tucker officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Eddie Walker, Clay Walker, Brian Bailey, Rodney Shedd, Johnny Walker and Bobby Walker will serve as pallbearers. Survivors include his wife, Maude Mansfield Mauldin of the home; daughters, Mary (Jerry) Tankersley of Thomson and Martha Lawrence of Thomson; brothers, Raymond Mauldin of Cornelia and Jack (Iris) Mauldin of Washington; three grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
