AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Bernice Daggett, 79, wife of the late Deacon James Daggett, entered into rest on March 3, 2009. She was a member of Adams Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include: brother, Earnest Mitchell, Jr.; three sons, Earnest (Bernice) Daggett, Michael (Sandra) Daggett, and Ellis Daggett; two daughters, Lynda (Alvin) Lewis and Carolyn (Stiner) Wiggins; two sisters-in-law, Annie Lou Williams and Rosie Lee Reid of Grove- town; daughter-in-law, Violet Daggett; nineteen grandchildren, thirty- three great-grandchildren, thirteen great-great grandchildren; a devoted caregiver, Joyce Oliphant, all of Augusta; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted this Saturday, March 7, 2009 at 2:30 P.M. at the Mount Vernon Baptist Church, 1930 Olive Rd., with Reverend Alvin Lewis officiating.
