Our representatives must fly right

  • Follow Letters

We taxpayers need to step up to bat and start holding officials who represent us accountable for their actions. We need to smoke them out of office if they have any secrets, or are stealing from us for their own gain.

We have had enough confusion as it is in Washington, D.C. And the president has appointed officials who already have left office or not even taken office. Either they were corrupt or had something to hide.

We in the CSRA need to start spring cleaning. If people are going to represent me, they need to assume 100-percent on-the-job status. If they have something they think they can hide, then they need to start steppin'. Enough is enough. How are we to trust them, much less anyone who holds office, if we can't trust those who hold high office in Washington? They need to be God-fearing. They might think they can get around us, but it is God who will hold them accountable, because He sees everything anyone does.

So far in Washington, I am upset that our new president is for abortion. What is wrong with him? ...

People were looking for the messiah in Barak Obama. He is just a man like anyone else. He is a politician and has his own agendas hidden from the public that elected him. He is so far left and a socialist, I am surprised that he does not wear the hammer and scical of the former USSR. America wake up to what is going on and protest all of these money give aways to the banks and pork barrel politics.

Sieg Heil. Hide your weapons. They will probably be needed by 2010. This mad Marxist needs to be stopped. Sooner rather than later.

eaglewing, why do you call him a socialist? in a perfect world we wouldn't need gov't intervention.but, we live in a society where children once worked in mills for probably a nickel a day.there was no osha then.do you think those wealthy mill owners lost any sleep?only after they had to install the preventions that were killing employees.if it weren't for the gov't people would still be dying.if bankers weren't criminals in pin stripe suits, the gov't wouldn't be handing them money now.if car execs weren't criminal liars we wouln't be paying their losses, aig? need i say more? we have a society that is nothing but greed and fraud.sure many are on the public dole, i hate it also, but what do you do,throw them in the street? we are stuck with these parasites, i can't answer why any man a real man would let his family live off the gov't.i just shake my head and thank god i wasn't raised like that.

Well Tina I guess that if the almighty sees all he will smite them at the first offense. Of course he hasn't done that type of action in written history, but maybe someday.

Similar to the fawning adulation exhibited by the Obama supporters prior to the November, 2008 elections, it appears that PT has developed the same wide-eyed fascination for the new leader of the Republican Party, Rush Limbaugh.

Tina, putting your faith in the almighty (lol) to keep this our representatives in government on the straight and narrow path is surely a splendid example of MIS-PLACED faith. He (lol) hasn't done a very good job of that so far. Maybe he's on an extended break. GGpap

Posted by GGpap on Fri Mar 6, 2009 11:55 AM....Strange, bu I haven't seen PT mention Rush. You DiMs can try all you want, but you can't take the public's eyes off the run away spending you DIMs are shoving down our throats by attacking Rush who ain't the Republican leader, but a chief spokesperson for we conservatives that drive you DIMs nuts as he exposes you for the socialist you are. 2010 ain't that far off, thank God..

justthefacts

Wow, dims sure are fixated on Rush arn't they? The country falling apart and all Obama is worried about is what a dumb talk show host has to say. Man, how embarassing for Obama. I don't recall Bush arguing publicly with Olberman or any other of the MSM during his terms. Obama needs to man up. People are going to be critical of him. He doesn't have to challenge everyone of them.

No, what is wrong with you, Tina Cloer? You're upset that our president supports women and NOT your sexist agenda? Get over it.

Jack, if you weren't so dense you would have been able to read between the lines in order to understand the impetus that prompts many of PT's posts. And, if you weren't so dense that you couldn't READ, you would have read in my earlier post/s that I am neither a supporter of Obama nor of anyone on the right. Actually no one has come forward yet that I would care to support, and it certainly wouldn't be Karl Marx or Jesus Christ. You ultra conservative diehards are obviously as blind as a bat; and pathetically, by choice, disillusioned losers. Your comments are rarely worthy of a response but every once in awhile I enjoy a good laugh at your efforts. GGpap

Ah but you are a heretic if you challenge the messiah. He is afraid that if Rush keeps pointing out the facts, even the blind sheep will see that the emperor has no clothes. Now I am not saying that everything that Rush says is the gospel, but he does make a good arguement for the opposing point of view. And I assure you that there are many people in this country that do not agree with the socialist direction Obama and Pelosi are taking us. Rush's points have merit to about half of the country. The majority of the people wanted a change from Bush's policies but I do not think the majority wanted to be turned into a social welfare state like much of Europe and Canada. If "universal healthcare" is such a good idea then why don't you ask the Canadians why they come to the US for treatment if they can afford it. It's because universal healthcare sucks up there and everywhere it has been tried. Same thing with excessive taxes....on anyone. If you think you can tax the "wealthy" and "big business" well, don't turn your back because them taxes will just be rolling down hill in higher prices. People are so stupid not to see that the middle class will pay the price.

Grab your pitchforks and muskets. Time for another revolution. Pelosi and her cronies need to taken to guillitine.

I am exaggerating, but what is happening in America seems to sound like what happen in France when they took their king and queen and separated them from their heads. Out of touch political officials loading more and more burden on the middle class and no real relief for anyone.

We, as citizens need to let the BOZOs in Washington know how frustrated we are and hold them to the greater accountability.
