DEVILS 3, MAPLE LEAFS 2 (OT)

In Toronto, Johnny Oduya scored on a rebound while sliding into the crease 4:48 into overtime to help Martin Brodeur improve to 4-0 since returning from an elbow injury as New Jersey beat Toronto.

HURRICANES 5, CAPITALS 2

In Washington, Carolina's Patrick Eaves scored twice, and the Hurricanes produced goals every which way -- penalty shot, short handed, power play, even strength -- handing Washington its second consecutive lopsided loss at home.

Eaves entered with three goals in 57 games this season, but he nearly doubled that output in a 101/2-minute span of the second period against rookie goalkeeper Michal Neuvirth.

FLAMES 6, SENATORS 3

In Ottawa, David Moss got his first career hat trick and Warren Peters added his first NHL goal in Calgary's victory.

Miikka Kiprusoff stopped 22 shots for the Flames, who improved to 8-1-2 since a season-high four-game losing streak.

PENGUINS 3, LIGHTNING 1

In Tampa, Fla., Chris Kunitz had two goals and Matt Cooke also scored to lead Pittsburgh.

Pittsburgh captain Sidney Crosby missed his fourth straight game -- all Penguins victories -- due to a groin injury.

PREDATORS 6, OILERS 5 (OT)

In Nashville, Tenn., Jason Arnott scored a power-play goal at 2:31 of overtime, and Nashville won its season-high fifth in a row.

Erik Cole scored with 6:08 left in regulation to tie it at 5.
