Margaret Ann Lofving (EVANS, Ga.)

EVANS, Ga. - Miss Margaret Ann Lofving, 90, of Morningside of Evans and formerly of Hickman Arms Apartments, died Saturday, February 28, 2009. A beloved teacher and friend, she was the only daughter of Edward J. and Annie Walker Lofving. Her teaching credentials were earned at Georgia State College for Women in Milledgeville. Many of Augusta's finest passed through her third grade classes in the Augusta schools. Her last position before retiring was at A. Brian Merry School. A faithful member of First Presbyterian Church, Miss Lofving is survived by her "adopted" family members, Walter and Dale Bryant of Denmark, S.C., Suzanne B. Lott of Barnwell, S.C., and Shari B. Gee, of Blackville, S.C. Graveside services and interment are scheduled at 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 3, 2009, at Westover Memorial Park, with Doctor Robert Vasholz officiating.
