NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Ms. Betty J. Jackson, 71, entered into rest on Saturday, February 28, 2009, at University Hospital. Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date. Ms. Jackson was a native of Augusta and had lived in the Augusta area all of her life. She was a member of the Methodist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie Evans Jeffcoat and Rosa Lee Hoover Jeffcoat and her sister, Elise J. Weckel. Survivors include her son, Robert Jackson, of Augusta, sisters, Joan J. McDaniel and Tonya J. Blackwell, both of N. Augusta, SC, two grandchildren, Blythe Reavis and husband, David, of Tacoma, WA, Jessica Oglesby, of Augusta and two great grandchildren, Dustin M.
