AIKEN, S.C. - Entered into eternal rest on Saturday, February 28, 2009, Linda Blackwell Stone of Aiken, S.C., loving wife of Robert Daniel Stone and daughter of the late James Ralph Blackwell and the late Elzie Range Blackwell. In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters; Cindy Duncan of Burnettown, S.C. and Sandra (Steve) Hall of Aiken, S.C.; brothers, James (Kathy) Blackwell and Jerry Dan (Charlene) Blackwell; sisters, Margie (Theodore) Godfrey, Gail (Jim) Covar and Mary Ann B. Harrelson; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Cecil Stone. She was retired from Graniteville Company. She was a dedicated member of University Parkway Church of God in Aiken, S.C. She loved her God, her family, her church and church family with all of her heart, and there is surely no doubt that she is now rejoicing in her Heavenly home. A celebration of her life will be conducted Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the University Parkway Church of God with Rev. Henry B. Shaffer and Rev. C.B. Turner officiating. The interment will follow at the Warrenville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on University Parkway in Aiken, S.C. tonight, Monday, March 2nd from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
