AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Dorothy S. Cummings, of 13th Street, entered into rest Thursday, February 26, 2009 at the residence. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Survivors are three daughters, Joyce Hammond, Avis Williams, Augusta, and Frieda Carn, North Augusta; two sons, Frederick P. (Mary) Cummings and Reginald B. (Dorothy) Cummings, Denton, Texas; sister, Ruby S. Green, Augusta; brother-in-law, James (Margaret) Jones, Silver Springs, Md.; 16 grandchildren; 15 great- grandchildren; 4 great-great- grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
