Teen pleads guilty to making death threats
An Augusta teen whose threats led another man to shoot him pleaded guilty Thursday.
Willie C. Jones, who spent his 19th birthday in jail, has learned his lesson about bravado, attorney Bryan Grantham of the public defender's office told the judge. Mr. Jones was shot in the leg on Sept. 10 after brandishing a butcher knife and threatening to kill his 34-year-old ex-girlfriend and the man whose home she was visiting.
He pleaded guilty in Richmond County Superior Court to aggravated assault and making terroristic threats.
Judge Michael N. Annis sentenced Mr. Jones to five years probation under the First Offender Act. He must perform 400 hours of community service, work on obtaining a GED, take any medications a mental health professional prescribes, complete a family violence program and undergo drug screens.

Augusta does not need Young Jeezy to come here. And if you are on the welfare you do not need to be buying tickets to see the Jeezy!
lascotta......?????????sounds like a sweet you have with coffee or maybe a pasta dish???
Dell4, Young Jeezy is from here. He went to Spirit Creek middle school. He is more that welcome to come back anytime.
Yeah Dell and if you do not wish to hear young Jeezy, don't go. Do you suggest the welfare people not buy a Brittney Spears or Hannah Montana ticket?
I would suggest that no one buy Brit or hoochy hanna tickets ;-)
If you are on welfare you shouldnt be buying tickets to anything, unless its for a bus to get a job.
Judge Annis needs a reality check or something ! A man who has been in and out of prison the last 16yrs is a repeat offender to me. Judge Annis decides to give him only 2 years for felony sexual assault. Something is wrong with this picture. I call it contempt of justice on the part of the Honorable Judge Annis !
Isn't young jeezy father a teacher at glenn hills high school. I can see all the kids 15 to 30 from burke, columbia, richmond, mcduffie, lincolton, aiken, and etc. Getting ready to see young jeezy in concert. Especially since 80% of hip-hop is purchased by white people.
Why was a 33 year old woman with a 19 year old man anyway?
I saw that crash on Highland Ave and it was horrific. The car was smashed like it had been crushed at the junk yard.
I am between 15-30 and I will NOT be buying concert tickets.
I am between 15-30 and I AM going to see Jeezy....and I hope that I have a blast!!!!
just wut james brown arena got named 4...all the colored folkeses rappers 2 cum bak 2 town dat dont need 2 be comin
LOL..hypo (we concerned parents do not allow our kids to attend concerts by hanna montana or britiney....that is the difference between us)......
kamcurry..because I am not a coward as our esteemed AG has stated...I will tell you you are an idiot.......................period.
A lot of people between the ages of 15 to 30 in these articles making bad decisions......stabbing, death threats, burglary, vehicular homicide, alledgedly carrying semi automatic weapons. Geesh!
only two more years???? that must be a type o.
