NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Funeral services for Mrs. Nell Strickland Flynn, 87, of North Augusta, SC, who entered into rest February 23, 2009, will be conducted Thursday morning at 11 o'clock from the Posey Funeral Chapel. Dr. Gary C. Redding officiating. Interment in Pineview Memorial Park. Mrs. Flynn was a native of Cairo, GA having made the North Augusta area her home for the past 23 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of North Augusta and wife of the late Mr. Frederick L. Flynn. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Pat and Bernie Brady and Jan and W.D. Phillips, all of North Augusta; six grandchildren, John F. Iaukea, Kim Anderson, Mike Phillips, Kelly Mathis, Jill Nugent and Stephen Phillips; twelve great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Robert Anderson, Mike Phillips, Kevin Nugent, Stephen Phillips, John Iaukea and Kelly Mathis. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6 until 8.
