What do we owe Muslims? Nothing

  • Follow Letters

I agree with other respondents to the letter from a Muslim who thinks America owes the Islamic world an apology ("Here's why we're apologizing to Muslims," Feb. 10).

Muslims owe the world an apology for the thousands of atrocities committed by Muslims in the name of Islam. I am sick of perpetually enraged, supremacist Muslims engaging in grievance theater while waging jihad to spread Islam and establish a worldwide caliphate. I am sick of Muslims persecuting Christians and Jews in Egypt, Turkey, Pakistan, Palestine, Lebanon and throughout the Holy Land, the birthplace of Christianity and Judaism.

Saudi Arabia forbids the practice of any religion but Islam, and forbids its millions of foreign workers to practice their faiths, and Jews are banned from entering Saudi Arabia. Yet they send their rabid Wahabbi clerics to America and around the globe, where Muslims enjoy unfettered freedom to practice Islam, proselytize and build mosques.

Islamic clerics, protected under our First Amendment, promulgate the predatory, intolerant doctrine of Islam, inculcating hatred of America, our culture, our way of life and our government. Muslims are obligated to spread Islam, by force if necessary, seize our wealth, usurp our governments and abolish all other religions. These radical clerics disseminate Islam's doctrine of hate, intolerance, supremacy and imaginary Muslim victimhood throughout the West, while our multicultural, politically correct politicians tell us that Islam is a religion of peace.

Islam is not a religion of peace; it is a bellicose, imperialist doctrine of perpetual war. Nobody should be allowed to promote sedition, rebellion and religious supremacy in America under the guise of freedom of religion, yet it occurs daily in thousands of mosques.

We owe Muslims nothing, least of all an apology. We need a drastic change in our immigration policies, which have become profoundly suicidal.

Signal Always makes my and

Signal Always makes my and point. United States with 330 million people is not going to win in a clash of civilizations (read religious war) with 740 million Muslims who are terrorists or sympathize with them. Today in Afghanistan only 47% of the population has a postive view of United States after 8 years of U.S.-led war in their country. That number was much higher after United States overthrew the Taliban in 2001. The percentage of Afghans who still have a positive view of United States is rapidly falling because the U.S. war, U.S. occupation, and the corrupt U.S.-backed gov't of Hamid Karazi have failed to raise the standard of living for ordinary Afghans. The Taliban are now resurgent. According to Sarah Chays who has lived and worked in Afghanistan since 2001, ordinary Afghans hate the corrupt U.S.-backed gov't of Hamid Karzai every bit as much as they hate the Taliban. Surging more U.S. troops into Iraq without a change in military tactics and U.S. foreign policy is as doomed as every foreign occupation of Afghanistan has been since Alexander the Great failed to subdue Afghan tribesmen 2500 years ago.

The Muslim state, whichever

The Muslim state, whichever banner you wish to portray them under owes America a huge apology for use of it's air and space to build moques, etc. so they may continue to profess their doctrine of killing all infidels. And yes folks, there are far more ways to rid the world of the infidel than outright slaughtering them. Hold on, the end times have just begun.

Responding to CH's 6:37 am

Responding to CH's 6:37 am post: I went to our local mosque (The Islamic Society of Augusta) on 31 Jan 2009 for a conference on Palestine. This was the first time in my life I had been in a mosque. I was welcomed. At least one Palestinian Christian along with several other Christians also attended. Everyone there was respectful and moderate in their views. Your understanding of Islam and of American Muslims is based on ignorance, misinformation, and very likely fear IMO,
CH.

Cain, like most other liberals, is nothing but a useful idiot to the Muzzie radicals, Patricia. In the real world, their "open" and "accepting" behavior of certain lifestyles would get their collective [filtered word]es beheaded.

patriciathomas, you are a

patriciathomas, you are a fool. I support all organizations (including churches, temples, mosques, labor unions, charities, and nursing homes, among others) having open books. Also where have you been regarding the government keeping tabs on the transfer of money or do you think some member of The Islamic Society of Augusta is personally carrying cash to radical/militant/terrorist organizations in foreign countries? One of the speakers at the conference on Palestine I attended at The Islamic Society of Augusta spent time in The West Bank as a member of Christian Peacemaker Teams. Is that a radical/terrorist organization in your eyes, patriciathomas? How about Rachel Corrie who was crushed to death by an Israeli bulldozer as she attempted to prevent it from demolishing a Palestinian's house in The West Bank? You need to get YOUR facts straight and learn what is terrorism and what isn't, patriciathomas. Your kneejerk, ill-informed, radical right wingnut reactionary poop is stupid beyond measure and stinks to high heaven.

Your gif depicting the crushing to death of an American protester (who never held up a sign which read "eff Israel") is cruel and not funny, Signal Always. This is the kind of thinking inside the White House during Bush's term that ridiculed anyone who disagreed with their macho aggressive policies for being panty waists.

A heart yearning for truth? A gene for compassion? Unlike you, I live in the real world. I'm not snowed into thinking Muslims are just peaceful people trying to live the American dream and get along with everyone. You're either naive or extremely ignorant and it's idiots like you that are going to get this world attacked again. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,494424,00.html

Screw Rachel Corrie, Cain.

Screw Rachel Corrie, Cain. She died trying to protest people who ONLY want to live in peace and sided with savages who constantly blow up coffee shops with innocent women and children inside. I give a rat's a** about the Palestinians. They want to live in peace? The onus is on them. Israel has bent over backwards for those idiots one too many times. You libs constant defending of the mose savage among the worlds peoples, like Mumia Abu Jamal, Saddam Hussein, Hamas, etc., is exactly why you're religion, I.e. liberalism, is considered a mental disorder. http://www.libertymind.com/

Cain, Rachel Corrie committed

Cain, Rachel Corrie committed suicide by jumping in front of a bull dozier in a way the driver couldn't see her. She was also trespassing. Your analogies seem to lack merit. My comment was if the mosque you attended told you whether they sent money to organizations that sent money to the radicals. We both know the answer. Neither you nor I know if they are sending money to support them just as we don't know if they're NOT sending the money. I think most of your naive posts demonstrate who is the fool. Anti-American fool. Also Cain, willi agrees with your posts. How's that for proof of your foolishness?

Don: You are correct, the

Don: You are correct, the CKKKK are not a religion. They are followers of a religion. Just like any individual, whether they claim to be Christian, Muslim or whatever is a follower of their religion. There are some people who hate no matter what. by the logic of some posters here, anyone who doesn't look like them should be suspect. Of course McVeigh was a clean cut white guy. This leads me to suspect that their hatred is due to an underlying racism rather than a true concern for security. If you read the Bible, especially Exodus, Leviticus, and Deuteronomy you would consider it a book that condones violence against those who don't believe as you. Not all Muslims hate Americans just as not all Americans hate Muslims.

Anybody see the news report about the guy owning some type of company in US? He was arrested for beheading his wife. Don't trust them when they speak about peace- their whole doctrine is once you accept their religion, if you back out of it/change your mind, you are basically on a hit list. Yeah- I'll apologise- I am so sorry that we allow that in our country.

Get your information straight, Saudi Arabia allows other religions to be practiced privately. Saudi Arabia is a holy place because it contains the Two Holy Mosques but you probably don't know that. Secondly, Saudi people couldn't care less about what Americans think of them or of their laws, and by the way many Jews work in Saudi Arabia (Only Israelis not allowed). It's ironic that when America goes around bombing countries it's president Bush to blame but when ignorant terrorists kill some people it's Islam to blame. Signal_Always foxnews really?. Islam and Saudi Arabia owes America nothing.
