Mary Hood (NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C.)

NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Mrs. Mary Finley Hood, 80, of Rainbow Falls Rd., entered into rest February 11, 2009 at Heartland Hospice House. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Mrs. Hood, a native of Edgefield County, was a member of Old Macedonia Baptist Church. Survivors include three daughters, Thelma Hay, North Augusta, S.C., Shirley (Bennie) Padgett, Johnston, S.C., and Emma (Albert) Jackson, North Augusta, S.C.; four sons, Benjamin (Angela) Hood, Robert (Katie) Hood, Joseph (Carrie) Hood, North Augusta, S.C., and James (Beverly) Hood, Graniteville, S.C.; two sisters, Mamie B. LaBord, North Augusta, S.C., and Lonia Mae Knight, Graniteville, S.C.; 27 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Friends may call at the residence.
