NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Funeral Services for Mrs. Irene J. Whitlaw, 99, of North Augusta, SC, who entered into rest February 12, 2009, will be conducted Saturday morning at 11 o'clock from the Posey Funeral Chapel. Rev. Gene Wilder officiating. Interment in Pineview Memorial Park. Mrs. Whitlaw was a lifelong resident of North Augusta. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jefferson City, TN and the wife of the late Mr. Thomas G. Whitlaw. Survivors include three daughters and son-in-laws, Janice and Truett Patterson, Jefferson City, TN, Joyce and Richard Timmerman, Ft. Walton Beach, FL and Lynda and Jack Johnson, Belvedere; six grandchildren, Lisa Roberts, Leslie Timmerman, Anita Patterson, Leigh Solomon, Jaime Rozsnyai and Kent Johnson; four great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Friday evening from 6 until 8. The family will be at the residence of her daughter, Lynda W. Johnson, 664 Hampton Circle, Belvedere, SC.
