ARLINGTON, Texas - Katharine Brinkley Brown, 100, widow of the late Charles E. Brown, died February 4, 2009. Services will be held on Friday, February 13, at 3:00 in the chapel of Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta, with the Reverend John Pinson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. till 3:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Westover Memorial Park. Katharine is survived by her son, Ed Brown and wife, Amy, of Panama City Beach, FL; her daughter, Vicki Starnes and husband Don of Arlington, TX; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
