Helen Stallings (BEECH ISLAND, S.C.)

BEECH ISLAND, S.C. - Graveside Services for Mrs. Helen Hadden Stallings, 84, formerly of Old Jackson Highway, Beech Island, SC, who entered into rest February 9, 2009, will be conducted Thursday morning at 11 o'clock in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Avera, GA. Rev. Donald Lumpkin officiating. Mrs. Stallings was a native of Avera, GA, having made Beech Island her home for the past 60 years. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Mrs. Stallings was preceded in death by a sister, Agnes Calloway. Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, George H. "Woody" and Denise Stallings, Jr. and Frank Stallings, all of Jackson; a sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Pat Barney, Augusta; a brother-in-law, Russ Calloway, Avera, GA; four grandchildren, Lee Stallings, April Stallings, Elisha Stallings and Hadden Stallings; one nephew; three nieces. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Carlton Pickett, Darline Nesbit and Trinity Hospice for their care during Mrs. Stallings extended illness.
