Lee Thompson (THOMSON, Ga.)

THOMSON, Ga. - Mr. Thomas Lee Thompson, 54, beloved son of Mrs. Ann Thompson and the late E.D. Thompson, died Sunday, February 8, 2009, in the Warrenton Health & Rehab Center. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 11, in the Sweetwater Baptist Church with Rev. Kenneth Garvin officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Thompson was a native of Richmond County, but had lived in Thomson for most of his life. He was a retired electrician and carpenter. He was a member of the Sweetwater Baptist Church. Survivors include his son, Mr. Christopher Lee Thompson, San Luis Obispo, Ca.; his mother, Mrs. Ann Thompson, Thomson; and three brothers, Bruce Thompson and Rodney Thompson, Both of Thomson, and Glynn Thompson, Gibson. Pallbearers will be Philip Thompson, Bruce Thompson Jr., Herman Thompson, Donald Toole, Ronald Toole and Lee Dickert. Friends may call at the residence of Mrs. Ann Thompson, Carl Drive or at the Curtis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday night at the funeral home.
