SINCE THE CITY OF AUGUSTA is always trying to be "all that," why can't it do like other big cities and synchronize all the traffic lights downtown? I have worked downtown for over 20 years, and I shudder to think how much time I have wasted sitting at every single light because they all turn red before you can get through them.

Nobody (well, maybe nobody) is hating Obama. We are hating his LIBERAL POLICIES that will drive this country into financial ruin. Sorry, but you are wrong about the last eight years. The FIRST SIX of those years were VERY GOOD in this country. Things went downhill fast starting in January of 2007 when the Democrats took control of Congress. Look up for yourself the strength of the stock market, the record low unemployment rates, the record low interest rates and the growth of the GDP. Then take a look at what has happened in the last 24 months. The ONLY THING that now is going to be "stimulated" is the speed at which we pork barrel down the hill into financial ruin.

Heading down Greene street from the Calhoun expressway. I hit every light red but one. I saw no cars crossng greene in front of me. In total time I lost 6 minutes of my life waiting. No I was not in a hurry either.

do like everyone else does with the red lights downtown-- when they turn yellow speed up so when they turn red you will be under or past them. There is usually nobody else on the side roads at these lights but they turn red regardless. I dont think the cop on the golf cart will be able to catch you if you just drive on thru the lights. The roads downtown especially on Reynolds absolutely suck but they continue to put in new lights and pavement over there by the crack houses. I guess they want the dealers to see all their clients.
I am not for abandoning any kind of animal, but taking it to a shelter is signing it's death warrant. A very small percentage of animals ever make it out of the pound. The better plan would have been to run a free ad in the IWANTA and give them away.
The Best plan would have been to have had the mother cat spayed before these kitties were concieved.
