NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Lucius Carter, 86, of N. Augusta, South Carolina, died February 4, 2009. Mr. Carter was preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers, and 5 sisters. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Margaret 'Elizabeth' Carter of North Augusta, SC; son, Michael Carter of N. Augusta; daughter, Maria (Charles) Lambert of N. Augusta; grandchildren, Michael (Vickie) Lambert of N. Augusta and Daniel (Ashley) Lambert of Cumming, GA; and 5 great- grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 7, 2009 at 1:30PM at C.J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home Chapel, Fayetteville, GA with Rev. Jim Willis and Rev. Dan Houston officiating. Interment will follow at Camp Memorial Park in Fayetteville. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
