JOHNSTON, S.C. - Mrs. Doris Salter Thomas, 88, wife of the late James O. Thomas, of Old Plank Rd., died Sunday, February 1, 2009 at Edgefield County Hospital. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Providence Baptist Church in Johnston with burial at Phillipi Baptist Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Providence Baptist Church, 1710 Hwy 191, Johnston, S.C. 29832. Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
