RIVERDALE, Ga. - Mrs. Effie Dolphus entered into rest Sunday, January 25, 2009 at Healthfield Hospice. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 30, 2009 at 3:30 p.m. at Good Samaritan Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Robert W. Turner, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery. She was a native of Burke County, Ga., a retired employee of Medical College of GA and a dedicated member of Good Samaritan Baptist Church. Survivors are two daughters, Olive Doby, Riverdale, Ga. and Burline Dolphus, Augusta; two sons, Lemar Dolphus and Oliver Dolphus, both of Augusta; a host of other relatives and friends.
