Court date set in former Colts coach's contract dispute

  • Follow Spartans

Augusta Colts owner John Sisson said he and former head coach Bubba Diggs will go before a Columbia County Magistrate judge Feb. 12 to settle a contract dispute.

Diggs, who led the Colts to a 7-7 season last year, filed suit against Sisson on Nov. 21 for $14,068.

Sisson stopped paying Diggs six weeks after the Colts' 2008 season ended, but Diggs claimed his contract was supposed to run through Dec. 31.

I think they should have went

I think they should have went to the Peoples Court, on TV, at least the entire country could have had a laugh and just not our community.

Now the truth will finally

Now the truth will finally come out! Bubba is a liar and caused the Colts to fail and he let Marvin Stone get away to boot! I hope he gets what he deserves.

This is not the first time I

This is not the first time I have had to correct you JOHNNY CHIMPO. Bubba is a great man, and is only asking for what he is owed. The poor management and lack of advertising, (as well as lack of game day experience), caused the Colts to fail. So look no further than your buddy John Sisson to blame for the failure of the Colts. And I like Marvin Stone, but he was injured most of the Colts only season, and so was the starting QB. So 7-7 is an excellent job considering losing your best playmaker and QB. And if Bubba Diggs is such a bad person, why was he named the Head Coach of the Carolina Force today. Since you know so much, why didn't you know that.
