AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. George S. Hampton of Weaver Drive entered into rest on Friday, January 23, 2009 at University Hospital. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Survivors are his wife, Georgia Hampton; two daughters, Phoenisa (Tony) Williams, Augusta, Sonja Hampton, Marietta, Ga.; two sons, Derek (Maria) Hampton, Dallas, Ga., Vincent (Catina) Hampton, Augusta; one brother, Solomon (Patricia) Hampton, McCormick, S.C.; three grandchildren; and a host of other relatives.
