AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Eula C. Broome, "Ma Broome", entered into rest on Thursday, January 22, 2009 at her residence. She was a beloved grandmother, aunt, and friend. Mrs. Broome was 94 years old. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 24, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at The Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta. The funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, January 24, at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Committal services will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Rev. Marion Jay will officiate. Pallbearers will be Bain Broome, Jeff Broome, Bruce Broome, Rudy Broome, Buzz Broome, and Rick Grubbs.
