NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Entered into rest Sunday, January 18, 2009. Deacon Jerry Henry Cannon, Sr., age 101. Funeral service will be conducted (today) Saturday, January 24, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from First Providence Baptist Church, 315 Barton Road, North Augusta, SC, with the Rev. Dr. Alexander Pope, Jr., officiating. Interment will be in Walker Memorial Park. The remains will lie in state at the church from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service.
